Alana has been on the Canadian Association of Wilderness Medicine board since 2020. She is a wilderness medicine practitioner, educator, and researcher. Alana volunteers as the medical advisor of Penticton Search and Rescue and serves on the BC Search and Rescue Medical Advisory Committee.
Colin is a registered nurse in the emergency department at Fraser Canyon Hospital in Hope. Prior to nursing, he trained as a primary care paramedic.
Colin has been with Hope SAR since 2022. In that time, he has completed his OAR team member and Swiftwater Rescue Tech 3 courses. He is also a member of the Canadian Association of Wilderness Medicine.

His career encompasses a wealth of diverse experiences, including roles as a ski patroller, transport nurse on both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft and, most recently, as a member with Campbell River SAR.
His passion for the outdoors has led him to summit Aconcagua, Mt. Rainier and various other peaks and glaciers. Hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and snowshoeing are among his favorite activities.
David is a certified ACMG ski guide, CAA avalanche professional, IRATA rope access technician, primary care paramedic/search and rescue medic and a GSAR/mountain rescue team leader. David guides for various heli-ski and ski-touring operations as well as industrial avalanche projects around B.C. in the winter and works for the provincial ambulance service during the summer months.

Doug has been a member of Lions Bay SAR since 1996. He is an emergency physician at Royal Columbian Hospital, a clinical assistant professor with UBC and also volunteers with Whistler Blackcomb Ski Patrol. He is the chair of the BCSARA Medical Advisory Committee and the Chair of the BCSSN medical rescue discussion group. He has a special interest in accidental hypothermia and mountain rescue.
Eliot is a primary care paramedic living in Whistler and working in Vancouver. He is also a professional ski patroller and OFA III attendant.
Landon is an emergency and critical care transport nurse with 30 years in nursing and 10 years with Squamish SAR. He has been involved in various health leadership roles and is the president of a national non-profit focusing on emergency nursing education throughout Canada. He currently works full-time as an advanced life support paramedic in downtown Vancouver.
M works as a paramedic in Princeton. She has been with Coquitlam SAR since 2009 and, in addition to her work as a GSTL rope rescue technician, OAR team leader and SVOP maritime team member, she has also been involved with numerous SAR administrative projects on the Coquitlam SAR executive.

He is an advanced medical provider for Nelson SAR and a team leader for avalanche response and class D. Mike is also a member of ICAR MedCom and course director for the Canadian Diploma in Mountain Medicine.
Raz is a PCP paramedic, climbing guide, avalanche educator and ski patroller. He is the former president of Squamish SAR and is currently splitting his time between the Kootenays and the coast.
Ryan is a member of Wells Gray SAR, based in Clearwater. He is a SAR manager, rope rescue team leader and board member of his SAR team. He also contributes to SAR as a provincial rope rescue instructor.
